Privacy policy

Last updated: 20 October 2026

Gorillacoms respects your privacy. This policy explains what personal information we collect through this website, how we use it and keep it safe, and the choices you have.

Who we are

This website is run by Gorillacoms, a private telecoms agency providing mobile, broadband and business phone services to businesses across the UK. We're responsible for the personal information you give us through this website.

If you have any questions about this policy or your information, call us on 020 3994 5090, email [email protected] or use our contact form.

Information we collect

When you contact us. If you send an enquiry through our contact form, we collect:

  • your name
  • your email address
  • your phone number, if you give it
  • the details of your enquiry, and anything else you choose to tell us

If you call or email us, we'll also have the details you share with us that way.

When you browse our site. If you allow analytics cookies, Google Analytics collects information about how you use the site, such as the pages you visit, the type of device and browser you use and your general location. It doesn't tell us who you are. If you don't allow these cookies, no analytics cookies are set. Google Analytics then only sends Google a basic, cookie-free signal (such as the page visited, the time and your type of browser) that doesn't identify you, which Google uses to estimate overall visitor numbers.

How we use your information

We use the information you give us to:

  • reply to your enquiry and talk to you about what you need
  • give you information or a quote for our services
  • keep a record of enquiries and our dealings with you
  • meet our legal and accounting obligations

We use Google Analytics information, where you've allowed it, to see which parts of our site are useful and to improve it.

We won't add you to a mailing list or send you marketing just because you contacted us.

Our legal reasons for using your information

Data protection law says we need a lawful basis to use your information. Ours are:

  • Taking steps at your request: when you ask us about our services, we use your details to respond and, if you go ahead, to provide them.
  • Legitimate interests: keeping sensible records of enquiries and running our business.
  • Consent: for Google Analytics cookies. You can withdraw this at any time.
  • Legal obligation: where the law requires us to keep certain records.

Who we share it with

We never sell or rent your personal information. We only share it with trusted service providers who help us run our website and business, and only as much as they need:

  • Web3Forms delivers messages from our contact form to our inbox.
  • Google provides Google Analytics (cookies only if you allow them) and the fonts used on our pages. See Google's privacy policy.
  • Our website host and email provider store and deliver our website and emails.

We may also share information if the law requires it. Some of these providers may store information outside the UK. Where they do, we make sure appropriate safeguards are in place, as UK data protection law requires.

Cookies

We only use optional Google Analytics cookies, and only if you accept them in our cookie banner. You can change your choice at any time in Cookie settings. Our Cookie policy has the details.

How long we keep it

We keep your information only for as long as we need it. For enquiries, that means long enough to deal with your request and keep reasonable business records. If you become a client, we keep the records the law requires, for example for tax and accounting. After that, we delete it securely.

Your rights

Under UK data protection law, you have the right to:

  • ask for a copy of the information we hold about you
  • ask us to correct anything that's wrong or incomplete
  • ask us to delete your information
  • ask us to limit how we use it, or object to us using it
  • withdraw your consent where we rely on it
  • ask for your information in a format you can take elsewhere, in some cases

To use any of these rights, call us on 020 3994 5090, email [email protected] or use our contact form. We'll respond within one month.

If you're unhappy with how we've handled your information, please talk to us first. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk.

Keeping your information safe

We take sensible technical and practical steps to protect your information from loss, misuse or unauthorised access. Our website uses a secure (HTTPS) connection. No website can be completely secure, but we work to keep the risks low.

Other websites

Our site links to some other websites, such as Google's. We're not responsible for how other websites handle your information, so please read their privacy policies.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Any changes will appear on this page with a new date at the top.
